Our editorial and medical review policy exists so you know exactly how the content on this site is written, sourced and checked before it’s published. Every health article is reviewed by George Mulaudzi, a Naturopath. Content is written using primary, authoritative sources, including peer-reviewed research, recognised clinical guidelines, and South African regulatory bodies, rather than by summarising other websites.
Who Writes Our Content
Content is developed by our editorial team in direct consultation with George Mulaudzi.
Editorial And Medical Review Process
Every health article is reviewed by George Mulaudzi.
Reviewer name and professional title are displayed on every reviewed article.
Publication and last-updated dates are shown on every article, and dates are only changed when the content has been substantively reviewed, not simply to appear current.
Articles are re-reviewed when medical guidance changes, when new evidence becomes available, or when reader questions reveal a gap in an existing article.
Our Sourcing Standards
We prioritise primary and authoritative sources when researching every article, peer-reviewed medical research and recognised clinical guidelines, and established medical institutions such as major hospital systems and professional medical bodies. We do not treat other websites, including competitor clinics, as medical authorities, and every sourced article includes a references section linking to the material we drew on.
6 Things We Will Never Claim
In line with our own editorial and medical review policy, our content will never claim or imply:
- A permanent cure or guaranteed result for any treatment, naturopathic or otherwise
- That any treatment is completely free of side effects
- That “natural” automatically means safe
- That prescribed medical treatment should be stopped or changed without medical advice
- That erectile dysfunction always has a single, simple cause
- That we provide services outside a naturopath’s registered scope of practice, including surgery, prescription medicine, or testosterone replacement therapy
Independence
We do not publish paid placements disguised as editorial content, and we do not manufacture or incentivise reviews. Any genuine patient reviews reflect real experiences, gathered without pressure or reward.
Corrections and Feedback
If you notice something inaccurate or outdated in any of our content, we want to know. Please contact us and we’ll review it promptly, this policy is only meaningful if we actually follow it in practice, not just publish it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who reviews the medical content on this site?
George Mulaudzi, our Naturopath, reviews every health article before it’s published.
Are you affiliated with any pharmaceutical or supplement company?
No. Our content and recommendations are not influenced by pharmaceutical or supplement company relationships.
How often is your content updated?
We review articles when medical guidance changes, when new evidence emerges, or when reader questions reveal a gap, not on a fixed schedule just to appear current.
Can I suggest a topic or flag an error?
Yes, please contact us directly. We take accuracy seriously and will review any flagged content promptly.
Does this policy apply to every page on the site?
It applies to all health and medical content specifically. General pages, like contact details or booking information, aren’t subject to medical review since they don’t contain clinical claims.
Why doesn’t your content read like other ED websites?
Because we deliberately avoid the guaranteed-result and fear-based language common in this space, our editorial and medical review policy exists specifically to prevent that.
Reviewed by George Mulaudzi, Naturopath, Erectile Dysfunction Clinic. This policy describes how content on this website is developed and reviewed. It does not itself constitute medical advice.
